Clothing in the New Order
by donny inthe society teaches that once the new order is up and running, we will achieve perfection as adam and eve once were.
if thats the case, why do they portray folks in the new order as fully clothed?
i thought clothing was the result of sin, so once sin is eliminated, should not clothing be also?

Therefore, if the WTBTS is accurate, and why wouldn't it be since it is transmitted from Jehovah via the FDS so you know you can take it to the bank, everyone will be wearing their KH clothes.

atf agents said the explosion at the jehovah's witness' kingdom hall on foggy bottom drive was intentionally set, and that the person who died appears to have committed suicide.
witnesses described large amounts of smoke pouring out of the building, which they said was just recently completed.

I just received a telephone call from an elder in my folks' congregation. My folks are currently out of town in NY and the elder couldn't remember if they were coming back today (Monday) or tomorrow. I told him they'll be in tomorrow.
He then told me that the bookstudy held at his house will be cancelled and the JWs assigned to him will be going to another bookstudy tonight because he is going to the bombed KH site because he'll be on the rebuild project.
As saddening as the suicide is, this really makes me angry. The only thing the local JWs are focused on is rebuilding their precious f**king KH.
To be fair, I'm sure some good hearted JWs are saddened by the man's suicide, but most of qualified male Dubs I know are in full A-Team mode, preparing to swoop in and rebuild the KH BECAUSE MISSING A FEW MEETINGS IN LIGHT OF A MAN'S SUICIDE IS UNACCEPTABLE!
Besides, who would even want to go inside that KH anyway knowing that some man was so distraught that he chose to take his own life inside of it?!?!?!
Are any of them wondering WHY he did it?!
Gah, I can hear it now. ".....this old system......Satan......"

Are you kidding?! Please tell me you are. The local brothers are already meeting and organizing a rebuild?! Jesus, it just happened yesterday!
Well, that makes what my father told me make sense. He and my mother are in NY right now at the Russian DC, but he told me that someone who he talked to when it happened mentioned that the local BoE were going to meet and organize where to temporarily route the meetings. Going, as in they hadn't met yet.
I thought, isn't that typical. Here the dust hadn't even settled and the first thing they do is arrange it so that not one meeting is missed.
Sickening.

The really sad thing is, they will turn the whole thing back on the man himself. They'll claim he was mentally unstable and distraught but they won't take any of the blame for his mental state! They'll sacrifice any good views and testimony of others about the man, and paint him an abberation and insist that this was a random and almost unheard of occurence among the JWs.
Yes, I hope the media starts investigating the factors involved in this man's breakdown.
Just whatever they do, I hope they just don't stop at what the org tells them.

Wow sometimes I am truly amazed at how insensitive people can be but many of you proved it right here! A family member of mine was related to the man who died and we don't know much yet, but the man in question was not a bad man, just sick and unhappy. - Posted by: Upset

Hey upset, I agree with the insensitivity you point out. This is a tragedy and my condolences to all who were close to him. Can you tell us if he was just a member of the r+f or did he hold a position in the KH. What bothers me most is the comments with ratings are made up of mostly racial comments. Message 36435.18 was deleted I am not a Jw but believe that people have bad days no matter who we are. We all handle things differently. If we tried harder to help one another instead of poke fun of others ill fortune maybe just maybe this world would be a little different. There is bad in all religions but some people who are prejudice choose to ppick on certain ones. How do you think Kirk Copeland and his members will explain their prosperity? I'm from the Independence/Kansas City area. The local JW's are in full chatter over this. My father had even helped on the quick build of this KH.
I'm going to try to find out details over this. If I can gather anything that is accurate, and not wild JW rumor, I'll let the board know!
The authorities are leaning towards suicide bombing, so I'll be curious as to what had happened to this guy to push him over the edge like this.
